Explore the new Urban Sketching and Travel Sketching movements and get a taste of the “Plein-Air” sketching tradition in this 5 session Saturday late morning and early afternoon class. Meeting at the McGuffey Art Center, we will sketch around Charlottesville. Quick pencil studies and loose ink sketches will be our starting points. We will also try several color sketching strategies (pastels, watercolor pencils, pastels, colored inks, or watercolor). Suitable for beginner to advanced students who have some experience in drawing (or painting).
