Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced students will have fun painting outdoors in this four-week Plein-aire watercolor class. Beginning with loose and playful watercolor studies and sketches, we will explore the creation of watercolor as an outdoor painting medium. By the end, we will be much more comfortable starting and finishing a watercolor painting “en plein aire!” Suitable for students who have at least a bit previous experience in watercolor.

Tuesdays @ 9:30-12:30 pm for 4 sessions. We will start on June 3rd, and barring any scheduling issues, we will finish up on July 1st.

LOCATION:

Shenandoah Valley Art Center, 416 W. Main Street, Waynesboro, Va. and outdoors as weather permits.
