For this Early Fall workshop we will explore sketching within sight of the hills and peaks of our Blue Ridge mountains. Starting with your favorite dry and/or wet sketching materials, we will explore capturing some of the stunning landscapes of our beautiful corner of the world in this Saturday workshop. We will gather to get ourselves organized at the Crozet Arts on Saturday morning and then head for our nearby morning location. Depending on the weather, we may use locations in or very near the Mint Springs, Beaver Creek Reservoir, or one of the vineyards or orchard near Crozet. For the afternoon sessiom, we will regather at the same or an adjacent site.

We will take a lunch break at about 12:30 to 1:!5 pm or so. Designed to be suitable for beginners who have some previous experience in drawing, as well as intermediate and advanced students.
