I sat on the east side of Michigan Avenue, just south of the Chicago River to catch this view of the Wrigley Building. On this warm summer morning, buildings to its east cast shadows over the entire Wrigley Building. As the sun rose further, those shadows receded down the facade. This sketch, created with watercolor over pencil, is 7x5.
