This small watercolor painting (click on image to see a full view) was started early in the very morning during a Spring artist’s retreat in Bath County Virginia. On that chilly morning, the bright clear light flooding the side of the ridge to my south caught my attention as I looked down the path between the trees. The painting is on 8x11 archival watercolor paper
