This small 4x5 watercolor and pencil sketch comes directly from a sketching trip along Old White Bridge Road near our home. I have made a lot of sketches and painting from my exploration of that part of my region. It started as a pencil sketch and as I worked for a long time to get all the shapes into position I decided to not add shading with graphite or ink. Instead I add a little bit of color and tried to stop before it was overdone.
